Wan wai kru or Teacher’s Day in Thailand is celebrated every year on January 16th . It is widely known that the day ,teachers gather to remember their first teachers and the student think back teacher’s kindness. In addition, the highlights of the day include religious activities, a ceremony of paying respect to teachers and activities to strengthen unity among teachers. On the one hand, the foreign friend may be confused or not does not understand any Thai culture in Wan wai kru. So, I can explain about this day which similar mother or father day. The activity of day created for increased good relationship between teacher and student together. In detail of activity, the children crawled up to the teachers on their knees, heads down, and presented them with flower tray with candles and incense for forgive some action to affect our teachers. I believe that day is good day in the year.
