Wai Kru Day at many educational institutions in Thailand. The tradition of wai kru is widely observed in countries around Southeast Asia. The beliefs behind Wai Kru Ceremony is widely known that the ceremony is the day in which students pay respect to their teacher to express their gratitude at the start of each school year.
In my opinion, Wai Kru ceremony is very important day in which students pay respect to their teachers in order to express their gratitude and asks for the teachers’ blessing and knowledge guidance.
It is a fact that. This day means: “Wai” means to bow in Thai and involves bringing your hands together as if saying a prayer. Thai culture fosters a deep respect for educators and the “wai kru” ceremony is a meaningful way to demonstrate. The ceremony is very formal and decorative. Lastly, I feel so grateful and obedient toward my teachers.
