Last summer, I went to The Northeast with my family because we were a big family, so we drove two cars, the first night we stayed in Mukdahan and dinner is near the mekong river. The next day, we travelled in Mukdahan and pay homage to Ong Phraya Sri Mukda Mahamuneenin Palnakkarat and visited my mother’s friends. On the second day, we traveled to Nakhon Phanom, paying homage to Phra That Phanom, Phra That Renu, and entered the date palm orchard where my father planted it. After playing in the garden, we went to pay respects to Naga Monument (Sri Sattanakarach) which is a new landmark in Nakhon Phanom province and there are many new accommodations and the local people are lovely and friendly. This trip made me feel that people in these two provinces lived a simple Buddhist lifestyle and remained religious. Next summer, I still want to come to Northeast, but I will go to other temples in the area such as Nong Khai, Udon Thani etc.
