If you have a foreign friend who does not understand any Thai culture. How would you explain your friend to know how important Wai Kru Ceremony?

            “Wai Kru Ceremony” is an important Thai culture that is held in school to pay respect to Thai teacher every year . It is held in the beginning of the new academic year on Thursday as an auspicious day .

            Every student comes to school with flowers . We bring 1 Eggplant flower [Dok Ma Khue] shows Respect                   2 Bermuda grass[Ya Praek]shows Patience and Perseverance. 3 Popped rice [Khaotok] shows Discipline.

            We all take part in this ceremony . Apart from those flowers,we also prepare 3 insensce sticks and a candle . Then every student takes a vow to be loyalty to the nation,religion and king . Moreover we perform to be good students:behave well,obey the school rules . Lastly the students come in rows to present their flowers to the teachers.
