Every country has far better roads than India. Roads are in need of modernization, traffic management is visibly absent and driver behavior harmful. Change of a transformational nature is required to inject sanity on their roads. No civilized nation should behave as they do while transporting themselves across and around this land. The problem is getting worse – the cost of road accidents is getting higher and rising numbers every day. Road infrastructure including road capacity, quality, pedestrian and slow moving traffic solutions, signaling and traffic management. Compare to Bangkok is no different; the city which was once called the Venice of the East took motorization as a status symbol. As you can see the news on the internet, Thousands of new vehicles are crunching tarmac across the country each day. They don’t have to be a careful driver or walker to be at increasing risk of accident while on the road – it isn’t getting safer!
