THE MARTIAN

The story is about: During a mission to Mars, Astronaut Mark Watney is presumed dead after a storm and left behind by his crew. But Watney has survived and finds himself alone on the planet. With only limited supplies, he must find a way to signal to Earth that he is alive. NASA and a team of international scientists try to bring “the Martian” home. The world comes together to bring Watney’s safe return.

I like this movie because it is about science, Mark tries out how to grow crops using his knowledge about botany, and how to create his own water using his engineering and chemistry knowledge. And I also like how his crewmates and NASA work together so hard to bring him back to Earth.
