Why World Teacher’s Day is important?

Not only Thai people who worship teachers. and a day is set to remember the value of teachers in National Teacher’s Day, January 16 of every year, but the world community is also giving importance to the people who have the privilege of learning knowledge as well by UNESCO. October 5th of every year has been set to coincide with World Teacher’s Day to honor teachers. UNESCO has organized the World Teacher’s Day every year to announce teachers as important people. because it plays a role in driving education to progress and to make teachers around the world aware of their responsibility to society as well as to instill a positive conscience of human contributions. The reason why UNESCO chose this day was to commemorate the 1966 signing anniversary of the UNESCO/ILO Recommendation Concerning the Status of Teachers. 1966) This document is regarded as a universal document certifying the rights and conditions of people who practice the teaching profession worldwide. (After this, in 1997, the document was also signed.
