In my opinion, I think the World Teacher’s Day is important because on this day the teacher’s hardwork has been brought to awareness. With the teacher’s continued efforts to give strong education and knowledge to his/her students, we are grateful on the teacher’s unconditional dedication.
In Thailand, we also celebrate the Teacher’s Day (so called “Wai Kru Day”), usually on the first or the second Thursday in the month of June. The students will give a bunch of flower or a garland to the teachers to pay gratitude for not only giving education to the students, but also crafting them to be good persons in the future. We wish our Teachers good health and happiness. We wish to support them when they are in need. They will remain in our good memory and will inspire us to pay it forward by doing good deeds to the next generations.
