This festival takes place on the night of the 12th full moon of the Thai lunar calender that usually in the middle of November. The festival happen in the ancient Sukhothai kingdom aroun the 800 years ago. This festival was created to apologize Phra Mae Kongka .
The Krathong is looklike the beautiful lotus shaped.
